10. Course

(1) Marathon

Starting point: In front of Shiohama Park (Kisarazu City)
(Passage points: Kisarazu-Kaneda IC, Umihotaru PA, Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu shopping center, Sodegaura City Hall, Sodegaura Park, Hotaruno, Kiyomidai)
Finishing point: Former Kisarazu City Office

(2) Half-marathon, wheelchair half-marathon

Starting point: In front of Shiohama Park (Kisarazu City)
(Passage points: Kisarazu Kaneda IC, Umihotaru PA, Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu shopping center)
Finishing point: Ushigome Seashore
Note: If the executive committee determines that the bridge part of Tokyo Bay Aqualine is unusable due to strong winds or other weather conditions, the shortened substitute course will be adopted for all events.

11. Eligibility

(1) Those born on or before April 1, 2002 who can finish the race within the time limit.

(2) Only competitors with racing wheelchairs may enter the wheelchair half-marathon.

(3) Competitors who want to enter the marathon or half-marathon but cannot run the race alone due to a disability may have a companion (caregiver) run with them. You must arrange your own companion. Please note that guide dogs will not be allowed.

12. Participation fee

(1) Marathon 13,500 yen

(2) Half-marathon: 10,500 yen

(3) Wheelchair half-marathon: 10,500 yen

13. Competition Rules and Points to Note

(1) All races will be conducted according to 2020 Japan Association of Athletics Federations rules of competition and the competition rules of this event

(2) The organizer may cancel the event due to strong winds, unexpected circumstances or natural disasters

(3) Gateway closure periods, first aid stations and water stations will be arranged to ensure the safety of participants

(4) Competitors must follow the instructions of referees and other event staff members during the race

14. Applications

(1) General entry:

1) You must apply through the Internet.
2) Applications will be accepted from noon on Friday, April 3, 2020 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2020.
3) If there are more applicants than the maximum number of participants set, participants will be selected by lottery.

(2) Special entry:

1) There will be special entry spots available for those who have a race record better than the designated time the organizer has set and those of foreign nationality.
2) Details will be provided separately.

15. Awards

(1) Marathon

1) The first- to eighth-place male and female finishers will be commemorated.
(There will be an awards ceremony for the first- to third-place finishers at the event. Certificates will be sent to the competitors finishing between fourth and eighth place at a later date.)
2) The first- to third-place male and female finishers by age group will be commemorated. (Certificates will be sent at a later date.)
3) The first- to third-place finishers in the team competition will be commemorated. (Certificates will be sent at a later date.)

(2) Half-marathon

1) The first- to third-place male and female finishers will be commemorated. (There will be an awards ceremony at the event.)
2) The first- to third-place male and female finishers by age group will be commemorated. (Certificates will be sent at a later date.)

(3) Wheelchair half-marathon
The first- to third-place male and female finishers will be commemorated. (There will be an awards ceremony at the event.)

16. Completion Prize

A completion prize will be awarded to all participants who complete the race in each event.

17. Record certificate

All participants will receive a record certificate.

18. Traffic Restriction on Tokyo Bay Aqualine Expressway

From 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (five hours)

19. Other

(1) Social contribution activities (such as charity) will be conducted.
(2) If the event is canceled due to circumstances beyond the control of the organizers, the participation fees will not be refunded.
(3) The organizer is not responsible for lateness due to public transportation or traffic conditions on the day of the event.
(4) This event will be conducted in compliance with related laws and regulations of Japan.
(5) Application regulations will be separately determined. (These will be finalized by the end of February 2020.)
(6) The executive committee will separately determine other necessary matters regarding the enforcement of event and application regulations.
